- Police received a report of harassment Oct. 27 on Deacon Road, Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, a male and female received threatening messages from the female’s ex-boyfriend. Multiple messages of concern were shown to police and misdemeanor charges were filed against the suspect as a result.
- Police reported an incident of DUI occurred Oct. 29 on Nichols Street, Clearfield. During a traffic stop for multiple violations, it was allegedly determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report of public drunkenness Oct. 23 on Nichols Street, Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, information was received regarding an intoxicated male walking around the Sheetz parking lot and asking women to buy him beer. Upon arrival on-scene, police found the male who they say was visibly intoxicated and having difficulty standing/walking. He was transported to his residence and cited for the incident.
- Police received a report of public drunkenness Oct. 24 in the area of Turnpike Avenue and Martin Street, Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, a witness saw two intoxicated males, one of whom fell and struck his head on a tree. Upon arrival of police, one male was cited for the incident and taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield for evaluation due to his level of intoxication. The other was released to a relative.
- Police received a report of trespassing Oct. 30 at the grandstand at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds. According to a department-issued news release, the caller contacted police regarding possible damage to the grandstand. Multiple juveniles were also on-scene traveling in a white car and possibly inside the structure. Upon arrival on-scene, police located the vehicle as it was leaving. One of the juveniles was allegedly in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time. It was noted that police proceeded to the grandstand and checked for damage and located two more juveniles inside. Citations for defiant trespass are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report of public drunkenness Oct. 27 on Clark Street, Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, information was received regarding a male lying asleep along the sidewalk. He was allegedly found to be manifestly under the influence of alcohol with a half empty bottle of wine in his possession. He was taken to his residence and charges were filed as a result of the incident.
