According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, troopers were dispatched to 100 Shryock Road in Burnside Township, Clearfield County, for a reported burglary that occurred at Rose Bud Mining around 6:32 a.m. on Monday, August 21.
Police say an unknown actor(s) forced entry into a storage container and removed a coal mine roof scope, value at $11,200.00.
The actor(s) also removed various tools from the surrounding area, including a Husqvarna 750 concrete saw (value $1,200.00), and a DeWalt drill with an impact driver (value $200.00).
The victim is a 51-year-old Blairsville man.
