CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Mayor Mason Strouse recently visited the food distribution site for the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Meals on Wheels program.
Following his visit, the mayor proclaimed March of 2022 as a month celebrating March for Meals Month and the 50th anniversary of the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program.
“I urge every community member to take this month to honor our Meals on Wheels programs, the seniors they serve and the volunteers who care for them,” Strouse shared.
“Our recognition of, and involvement in, the national celebration can enrich our entire community and help combat senior hunger and isolation in America.”
