CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township board of supervisors voted Tuesday night to submit the salt contract for 2022-23 COSTARS.
The supervisors reported that a little over 600 tons of salt was purchased for 2021-22 and an additional 100 tons have been recently purchased due to the winter weather.
Resident Chester Fletcher of Clearfield was also approved to serve on the Lawrence Township Recreation Board.
Lawrence Township will also be pursuing a grant for road work on Industrial Park Road and for Lick Run Bridge. The grants come from a state-wide local share assessment grant.
