State police at DuBois
- State police received a report of disorderly conduct/harassment Jan. 28 on Woodward Road in Huston Township. During a domestic incident, a 40-year-old Penfield man was allegedly drunk and became physical with the victim. The victim was able to get away and call 911. Charges are currently pending.
- State police received a report of identity theft Jan. 25 on Lee Road in Union Township. Troopers provided the victim with contact information for the Pennsylvania Treasury Department.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a theft Jan. 26 in the Clearfield Walmart store parking lot. According to police, information was received about a purse that was recovered along state Route 879 at the Rainbow III car wash. Shortly after, it was learned someone had found a purse but a direct call came in from the victim who said someone had stolen her purse. She was advised to meet an officer at the car wash and her purse was returned. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
