Coroner Responds to Propane Truck Crash Near Frenchville

FRENCHVILLE – The coroner was called to the scene of a propane truck crash Friday afternoon near Frenchville, WJAC-TV reports.

According to the Morris Township Fire Company, the Frenchville – Karthaus Highway is closed between Deer Creek and Keewaydin roads due to an active propane leak.

PennDOT estimates the roadway won’t reopen until at least 8 p.m. Traffic is being rerouted to Deer Creek Road, the Bigler-Allport Cutoff, SR 53 and Rolling Stone Road.

Pennsylvania State Police are on-scene, along with the Morris Township and Pine Glen fire departments and state Department of Conservation & Natural Resources.
