CLEARFIELD – Multiple school buses erupted in flames Wednesday evening at Novey Recycling, Clearfield.
According to the Lawrence Township Fire Department No. 1, initial reports were received for an explosion with heavy smoke at the salvage yard.
On-scene, firefighters found five school buses that were “fully involved” and requested assistance from Clearfield, Hyde and Curwensville Rescue Hose & Ladder fire departments.
Crews operated on-scene for approximately two hours.
