CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corp. is planning several events for the summer months through December.
The first is the popular Bloom and Berry Bash, which will take place on June 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those who attend will want to check out the many craft vendors who offer their creations for sale.
Farmers from the area will also be selling food produced on their farms and several businesses will be on hand to offer their products.
Many fun foods will be offered, assuring that no one will go away hungry. And on a really hot day, everyone will want to cool off with cold, berry-inspired drinks.
The next event to be held is the annual National Night Out Block Party, taking place this year on July 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
According to Internet information, the National Night Out is geared to enhance the relationship between law enforcement and neighbors in an attempt to bring back a sense of community. The event provides a positive opportunity to bring the police and neighbors together.
Other events scheduled are an Oldies Night concert in Lower Witmer Park on Aug. 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
A Fall Festival, 5K Pumpkin Run and a car, truck and motorcycle show will be held Oct. 9.
There will be a CRC Halloween Parade held at the Clearfield Driving Park on Oct. 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Also, Small Business Saturday will be held Nov. 27; Taste of the Town Spirit tour will be Dec. 3, from 5 to 9 p.m., and Christmas tree lighting at Lower Witmer Park Saturday Dec. 4 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
