PSP Clearfield

State police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief in Woodward Twp.  Unknown actor(s) damaged the chain link fence near the entrance of Houtzdale Rails to Trails.  Damage is estimated at $500.

State police are investigating an incident of theft at a residence in Boggs Twp.   Unknown actor(s) removed two coin banks containing an estimated $300 to $400 in change, a 35 Marlin leaver action rifle, a 22 Remington semi- automatic rifle and an iPad.  Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.

State police responded to a report of vandalism at the Grampian Community Park.  Unknown actor(s) vandalized picnic tables, outlet, light fixtures and various other items.  Damaged is estimated at over $1000.

State police are investigating a report of a damaged cell phone and $300 that was transferred from an account without consent.

State police responded to a suicide attempt in Coalport Borough.

State police are investigating an incident of ID theft in Graham Twp.  The victim reported that unknown actor(s) applied for unemployment benefits using his name and address.  The investigation continues.

Clearfield Borough

Police responded to a hit and run that had occurred along SW 3rd Ave.  Police report that a yellow passenger car struck a parked car and fled the scene.  Police did obtain a registration plate from witnesses and are continuing the investigation.

Police are investigating a theft of gasoline complaint.  Police report that that the victim’s vehicle was parked along Gulich Ave. when gas was removed.  Police did observe damage around the gas cap area.  

Police are investigating a theft of medication complaint.  Police report that medication was removed from a vehicle.  Police do have a suspect.    

Police received a report for a W. Locust St. resident regarding an incident of harassment.  Police were able to contact the parties involved and resolve the issue.

Police received a theft complaint where a male was provided money to assist in the retrieval of clothes.  The male failed to return with the clothing.  While police were taking the report, the male returned.

Police handled a parking complaint issue along E. 6th St.
