Clearfield Man Facing Various Charges Following Motor Vehicle Theft

CLEARFIELD – An 18-year-old Clearfield man is facing various charges following an alleged motor vehicle theft Sunday in Lawrence Township.

According to the incident report, police received a call about a motor vehicle theft on Flegal Road. The caller said an intoxicated male had entered her home and car in the driveway. Then, he fled in her vehicle.

Police later located the stolen vehicle near Sheetz on Williams Street in Clearfield Borough. There, the suspect – now identified as Corbin Turner, 18, of Clearfield, was taken into custody.

Police say Turner was under the influence of alcohol and taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for a legal blood draw.

Turner is currently lodged in county jail on charges of theft, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, DUI and related offenses.
