Allport Woman Gets More State Prison Time in Drug Cases

CLEAFIELD – An Allport woman will be spending more time in state prison for three separate drug cases.

Torie Marie Kay Snedden, 30, currently an inmate of state prison, pleaded guilty Monday to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-Buprenphine and criminal use of communication facility, both felonies as well as misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in the first case.

Judge Paul E. Cherry sentenced her to six months to three years in state prison along with two years probation, according to a court employee.

This will run consecutive to her current probation revocation sentence of six months to two years in state prison, which she received in August on a previous retail theft charge, as seen on online court documents.

In each of the other two cases, she pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and received one-year concurrent probation.

According to the affidavit of probable cause in the first case, undercover officers arranged two separate sales of Buprenorphine pills from Snedden through a confidential informant at her residence.

In an interview with police, she stated that she “only sold pills to help make money for her kids.”

The criminal complaint in the second case details how Snedden and another person were found passed out in a vehicle at the Morrisdale Minit Mart on Dec. 14, 2019.

Because Snedden had outstanding warrants, she was taken into custody and both she and the vehicle were searched.

The troopers discovered a half ounce of methamphetamine, numerous pills, multiple pieces of drug packaging materials and “owe sheets” tallying her drug sales.
