Grampian Lions Club to Host Children’s “Drive-Thru” Easter Festival

GRAMPIAN – The Grampian Lions Club will host a Children’s “Drive-Thru” Easter Festival on Saturday, March 27.

It will take place, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., at the Grampian Cen-Clear Center. All local children and their families are invited to attend this free event.

All U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Lions Club COVID-19 public health and safety guidelines will be followed.

This year’s Easter event will be drive-thru with various stations. Club members will hand items to the driver for each child. Children will remain in the vehicle.

Each child will receive a bag of candy-filled eggs to use to collect treats from other stations. There will be 40 prize eggs, and an allergy-free basket will be available, as well.

Stations will feature the Easter bunny, homemade cookies, holiday crafts, chips and drinks, Texas Roadhouse eggs with a free children’s meal ticket, a Pinata raffle and a prize table for those with a prize egg.

Club members are hopeful events and activities will soon return to normal but in the meantime will strive to serve the needs of their community.
