State police at Clearfield
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred Feb. 20 in the area of Market Street and Frenchville-Karthaus Highway in Karthaus Township. The suspect was detained for DUI following a traffic stop for a summary violation.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment Saturday on Lingle Street in Osceola Mills Borough. As a result of a domestic, a 30-year-old Osceola Mills woman was charged through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment Saturday on the Morrisdale-Allport Highway in Morris Township. As a result of a domestic, a 19-year-old Houtzdale woman and a 22-year-old Morrisdale man were charged through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Feb. 24 on Coal Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly remotely accessed the victim’s MasterCard and removed funds from their account. The investigation is ongoing.
- On March 2, state police responded to Hanes Road, Pike Township, for a report of found drug paraphernalia. It was seized by a trooper and destroyed at the state police barracks.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness Sunday on Daisy Street Extension. On-scene, police found a 27-year-old Clearfield man who was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges have been filed.
- Police reported a drug-related DUI that occurred Saturday in the area of River and Alliance roads. During a traffic stop, contact was made with the driver – a 37-year-old Clearfield woman – and the officer could detect the odor of marijuana. Upon investigation, she was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, police say, and in possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol. Police transported the woman to Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for a legal blood draw; she was released with charges pending.
