Lady Tide Get Sweet Revenge, Down DCC 44-39

CURWENSVILLE – After losing 57-27 to DuBois Central Catholic (DCC) just 10 tens ago, the Curwensville Lady Tide rose up on Friday night and took down the Lady Cardinals 44-39.

It was the old back and forth game at Patton Hall which had the Lady Cardinals have the lead after the first three quarters. DCC had a 7-6 first quarter edge and then upped it to 21-18 at halftime.

And after three quarters the Lady Cardinals took a 31-26 margin into the final eight minutes.

However, on this night the Lady Tide stuck together and came up with a very impressive fourth and final frame, outscoring DCC 18-8 to pick up the very sweet victory.

At the foul line the Lady Tide attempted 30 free throws and connected on 14. DuBois Central Catholic shot just nine free throws and made only four.
