Clearfield- The 82nd class of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s (CCCTC) Practical Nursing Program graduated seven students on Feb. 3, 2021.
Fred Redden, CCCTC Executive Director, welcomed the audience to the event. Cheryl Krieg, Nursing Program Director, introduced faculty and staff. Samantha Goldenberg introduced the Commencement speaker: Alene Homan, M.Ed., BSN, CCCTC Nursing Instructor.
Academic awards were presented by Cheryl Krieg, Nursing Program Director, to the two students with the highest-grade point averages in the class Jessie Kness and Jenna Hudson.
Four graduates were recognized as members of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS): Jenna Hudson, Jessie Kness, Meagan Smith, and Jody Spicher.
Diplomas were awarded by Mr. Redden and Ron Matchok, Superintendent of Record. Graduates were presented for graduation by Tonya Saggese, Nursing Instructor and nursing pins were awarded by Alene Homan, Nursing Instructor.
Barbara Smith, Nursing Instructor, led the graduates in reciting the Practical Nursing Pledge.
Graduating Student Jody Spicher provided the farewell address.
