West Decatur Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Teen

BOGGS TOWNSHIP – A West Decatur man is being accused of having sexually assaulted a teenage girl over the past several years.

Brian D. Stone, 41, is charged by Clearfield-based state police with felony rape-forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault (24 counts) and intimidate victim/witness as well as misdemeanor indecent assault (24 counts).

The assaults started in 2015 and continued through Jan. 25 in Boggs Township, according to a news release issued by Trooper Scott Sankey.

State police say the girl reported the assaults to a school official and a forensic interview was conducted. Additional information was also provided by a relative.

Stone was arraigned at 6:05 p.m. Jan. 29 before Magisterial District Judge Mike Morris. He was housed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $250,00 bail.

Stone is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 10 during centralized court.
