Police are investigating a series of thefts at the WalMart Supercenter between Oct. 29 and Dec. 11. The female offender is unknown at this time. The investigation continues.
PSP Clearfield
State police investigated an incident of harassment on Elizabeth St. in Osceola Borough. Clinton Spencer, 49, of Osceola was cited for repeatedly yelling at the victim while she was trying to move out of the residence.
State police responded to a Chester Hill Borough residence for a welfare check. Upon arrival it was discovered that the victim was deceased and determined that it was from natural causes.
State police were dispatched to an assault that occurred on Sportsmans Rd. in Cooper Township. A 28 year old female grabbed a 53 year old female victim by the throat and then fled prior to police arrival. The offender was cited.
State police arrested a 36 year old female from Houtzdale for DUI following a disturbance in the parking lot of the Fuel-On. Charges are pending toxicology reports.
State police arrested Michael Fyock, 42, of Coalport for theft after he stole a donation can that was a fundraiser for the American Heart Association from Snappy’s in Houtzdale Borough. Fyock was observed on surveillance camera committing the theft and was quickly identified. Charges have been filed.
State police were called to SCI Houtzdale for the death of an inmate. Upon investigation it was determined that the inmate died of natural causes.
Curwensville Borough
Police assisted a motorist with a vehicle lock out on Center St.
Police responded to a domestic dispute at the Curwensville Commons. Police handled the situation without further incident.
Police assisted LTPD with a reported robbery.
Police were dispatched to Locust St. for a reported break- in in progress. Once on scene it was learned that the offenders were not able to gain entry and fled the scene. After speaking to the actors it was discovered that they were concerned for the welfare and were attempting to check on residents.
Police assisted State police with a welfare check at Marion Manor. Children were found to be yelling loudly at a neighboring residence.
Police are investigating a harassment by communications incident.
