PSP Clearfield

State police are investigating a suspicious person at Snappy’s in Curwensville Borough.  On Dec. 23 at approximately 1700 hours a man in a pick-up truck told store employees that he was there to inspect the fuel pumps.  After 30 minutes the male was approached by staff and informed him no one was scheduled to inspect the pumps.  The male then fled the scene.

State police were dispatched a verbal altercation which became physical.  Injuries reported by the victim were minor.  The arrestee, a 21 year old Morrisdale female was cited for harassment.

State police responded to a domestic in Grampian Borough.  During the course of the incident the arrestee, Robert Weber, 77, of Grampian raised a kitchen knife causing the victims to be fearful for their lives.  Weber was  taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment.

Police investigated a physical altercation which occurred at the Hangar Bar in Pike Twp.  Travis Pollick, 42, and James Anderson, 50, both of Clearfield were charged in the incident.

State police investigated an incident of criminal mischief on Old Station Rd. in Ferguson Twp.  Unknown person(s) damaged a moped parked in front of a resident.  Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.

State police investigated a PFA violation on Main St. in Ramey Borough.  Charges have been filed against Richard Guthrie, 48, of Ramey.

State police investigation an incident of theft on Wallaceton Rd. in Morris Twp.  Unknown actor(s) cut the exhaust of the victim’s pick up truck and fled in an unknown direction.

State police are investigating an incident of theft in Cooper Twp.  Unknown individuals scammed the victim out of $1,478.21.

State police investigated a drug overdose in Woodward Twp.  A 26 year old male overdosed on an unknown narcotic.  The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

State police investigated an incident of theft on Zion Rd. in Knox Twp.  The investigation continues.

State police arrested a 16 year old Grampian male for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

State police investigated a theft from the Coalport Minit Mart.  Joel McClellan, 21, of Coalport stole three gas treatments. Charges have been filed.

Clearfield Borough

Police were called to Nichols St. for a report of a suspicious person.  Upon arriving on scene, the male was leaving.

Police responded to E. Market St. for a male that was to be trespassing.  The male was no longer on scene when police arrived.

Police responded to Sheetz for a minor vehicle accident where one vehicle had backed into another causing minor damage.

Police assisted Clearfield EMS with a female who had lacerations to her arm from glass breaking.  She was transported to the hospital by EMS.

Police were called the hospital for a patient that was there seeking treatment from an alleged assault.  Police responded and the complaint was unfounded.

Police responded to Nichols St. for an altercation between two males.  Police were able to handle the situation on scene.

Police are investigating a Burglary along W. 1st Ave. where a window was broken, and unknown individuals gained access into the unoccupied residence.

Police responded to a business along N. Front St. for an activated alarm.  Police found the wind had blown open the front door.  Nothing appeared to be disrupted inside.

Police were called to Daisy St. for what appeared to be an altercation.  Police found that a vehicle had become stuck on the roadway and was receiving assistance in getting out.

 Police responded to S 4th St. for a disturbance where fireworks were to be setting off.  Police arrived and did locate plumes of smoke but were unable to locate anyone.

Police were asked to check the welfare of a resident along N. 2nd St.  Police made contact with her and found she was having issues with her phone.
