HYDE — The Clearfield junior varsity football team scored the opening points of Monday’s game against the visiting Dragons of Central, but it was all the visitors afterwards, as Central came away with a 33-6 win at the Bison Sports Complex.
Clearfield got on the board after a long drive ended with a Will Domico to Isaac Durandetta 15 yard touchdown pass. The point conversion failed, and the 6-point lead would be the last that the Bison would hold.
The Dragons went ahead 8-6 on the next drive and then ran off 33 unanswered points in total.
The Bison will be on the road next Monday when they travel to Huntingdon to face the host Bearcats.
