CAMP HILL – Rite Aid continues to expand its no-charge COVID-19 testing service with 39 additional drive-through locations opening Friday, Sept. 25, including several in Pennsylvania, through its partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Rite Aid’s drive-through testing sites are located at the following stores across Pennsylvania. Additionally, Rite Aid is also opening several testing sites in the Philly area; the full list of testing sites can be viewed here.
- 1536 N. Atherton St., in State College
- 23 N. Elm St., in Kutztown
- 2108 MacArthur Rd., in Whitehall
- 480 W. Bertsch St., in Lansford
- 825A E. Chestnut St., in Lancaster
- 415 E. Queen St., in Chambersburg
Like Rite Aid’s existing drive-through testing sites, the new locations will utilize simple self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists, and will operate Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Rite Aid’s COVID-19 nasal tests are available for all adults, regardless if they are experiencing virus symptoms, in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance.
At all testing locations, patients are required to provide government issued identification, be at least 18 years old and need to pre-register online at www.riteaid.com in order to schedule a time slot for testing.
Now operating 303 testing sites across 15 states, Rite Aid has adequate capacity to test symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals, 18 years and older, who want to be tested through online appointments.

Rite Aid partners with Verily and its Baseline COVID-19 Testing Program to provide screening, scheduling and return of results to participants for Rite Aid testing sites.
