PSP Clearfield

State police investigated a domestic assault on 6th Street Ext. in Penn Twp..  A 55 year old male struck a 54 year old female with a shovel and pushed her to the ground.  The female grabbed the male and struck him several times on the head.   Both individuals were cited.

State police investigated a burglary on 4th Ave. in Woodward Twp.  Unknown person(s) entered a garaged and removed a zero turn Toro Titan MX mower, two push mowers, a weed trimmer, two gas cans and miscellaneous tools.  Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.

State police responded to a  two vehicle crash on Old Route 322 in Boggs Twp..  The male operator of a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling south when he collided with a Chevy Silverado that was parked along the roadway.  A female occupant of the Silverado was in the bed of the truck stacking wood at the time of collision and was ejected from the vehicle.  Another male occupant was operating a log splitter that was attached to the hitch at the time of impact.  Both the male and female sustained injuries and were transported to Mount Nittany Hospital for treatment.  The driver of the Grand Cherokee sustained minor injury.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  The roadway was closed for approximately one hour.

Clearfield Borough

Several bad checks were turned into police after they were passed at a local busines.  Charges were filed on the individuals.

Punxsutawney Police arrested a female who held an active warrant.  The female was transported from Punxsutawney to the Magistrates Office where she was arraigned on the warrant.

Police assisted EMS along Park St. with medical emergency.

 An abandoned bicycle was turned over to police after it was found abandoned along Nichols St.

Police responded to Nichols St. for a male juvenile that fled a residence after an altercation with a family member.  Police were then notified that the child returned home and services were no longer needed.

Police responded to a noise complaint along Nichols St.  Police searched the area and could not locate anything.

Police located a female along E. Market St who had an active arrest warrant through the department.  She was taken into custody and was able to supply the funds needed.

Police are investigating the theft of a 2016 black and green Kawasaki Motorcycle.  The Motorcycle was removed from a residence along Spruce Grove Ln. in Clearfield sometime 6pm and 10pm on 9/18/2020. 

A baggy of suspected Methamphetamine was located along Daisy St.  Police responded and took possession of the drug.

Police assisted the Clearfield Fire Department with a fuel spill along Nichols St.

Police responded to Cemetery Rd. for a report of a suspicious person.  Police searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone.
