Clearfield Couple Wanted Following Alleged Stabbing

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield couple is wanted following a stabbing incident Friday at Golden Rod Storage.

According to Lawrence Township police, a 30-year-old Clearfield man attempted to confront his ex-girlfriend, 28-year-old Lacey Hinks of Clearfield, in order to retrieve some of his personal belongings.

She allegedly “attacked” him with a knife, cutting his forearm multiple times. It was noted that lacerations were observed when the victim spoke with police on-scene.

Police say Hinks fled the scene with 38-year-old Alan “Bucky” Erskine of Clearfield in a vehicle that was later recovered from the McDonald’s parking lot. Erskine is currently wanted by the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department.

Hinks will face charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lawrence Township police at 814-765-1647/48 or 814-765-1533.
