CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area United Way needs support now more than ever due to the COVID-19 crisis.
And so, the organization recently began preparing donation letters for its upcoming fall community campaign.
This year, the campaign will help support 23 local member agencies throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County. Overall, the CAUW hopes to raise $210,000.
“We hope everyone in communities we serve will make a donation, helping our agencies to help us continue to reach out and help others,” said Brenda Terry, campaign volunteer.
Any interested donor can send a tax-deductible donation to Clearfield Area United Way, 18 N. Second St., Suite 4, P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. Or, they can donate online at clearfieldareaunitedway.org.
Details concerning the annual kick-off are also still a topic of ongoing discussion due to COVID-19.
