UPDATED: BREAKING: Murder Suspect Still At Large After Shooting in Hyde

HYDE – Area authorities are continuing an active search for a murder suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting Thursday afternoon in Lawrence Township.

Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers identified the suspect as 36-year-old Anthony Boone, whose current residence is unknown. However, he said Boone is known to have lived in the West Decatur area.

He said at approximately 3:15 – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Boone shot a female victim multiple times, killing her on Legion Road in Hyde. “He’s to be considered armed and dangerous.”

Boone is described as being a Caucasian male standing approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black muscle T-shirt, blue jeans and a black hat.

He’s believed to be operating a 2002 Subaru Forester with a possible Pennsylvania registration plate number of JTC-5813.

Lawrence Township police is leading the investigation with assistance from multiple local municipal and state police agencies
