Clearfield Borough

Police responded to a report of an assault on S 4th St.  Officers arrived on scene and separated the parties.  The incident is being investigated at this time.

Police are investigating the theft of a bedroom comforter from a local laundry mat. 

Police received a report of a John Deere Bicycle being stolen from a residence. 

Police responded to a report of males trespassing inside a vacant residence.  Police made contact with the males and instructed them to stay off the property. 

Police responded to a report of young child being found near a roadway.  Police arrived and assisted a good Samaritan, holding the child, with locating the legal guardians.  Police are investigating the incident.

Police responded to a verbal altercation between two individuals at a Hook St address.  Police arrived on scene and separated the parties.

 Police received a report of a light being on inside a vacant residence.  Police checked the residence with negative results.

Police received a “911 hang up” call from a local business.  Police arrived on scene and found the call to be accidental.

Police were dispatched to an E Pine St address in reference to an altercation between individuals inside.  Police arrived and separated the parties.  One of the individuals was found to have a warrant and was taken into custody.

Police are investigating a report of an automobile being vandalized while parked at a Park St address.

Police responded to a report of a missing juvenile from an E 9th St address.  Police later located the child at his aunt’s residence.

While on patrol, police observed a female standing in the middle of Bigler Ave. Police made contact with the female who stated she wanted to harm herself.  Police assisted the female to the hospital so that she could receive help.

While on patrol, police located a male containing a warrant.  Police made contact with the male near Nichols St where he was taken into custody.

LTPD was assisted by this department with an incident involving a male who had shot himself with a firearm.

Police responded to an incident involving an altercation at an E Pine St address.  Police located a male involved and he was taken into custody.

Police responded to a report of a bear walking in the area of Leavy Ave and S 4th St.  Police arrived in the area but were unable to locate the animal.

PSP Clearfield

State police arrested a 35 year old Coalport male for damaging a vehicle on Main St. in Coalport Borough.

State police responded to a 2 vehicle accident on Main St. in Grampian Borough.  Upon arrival it was found that the 62 year old female driver was under the influence.  No injuries were reported. Charges are pending.

State police are investigating a theft of motor vehicles on Brisbin St. in Houtzdale Borough.  Unknown individual(s) broke into multiple vehicles and removed items.  Anyone with information is as to contact PSP Clearfield.

State police investigated a report of retail theft at the Dollar General in Irvona Borough. The arrestee, a 22 year old female from Coalport removed a Blue Tooth Speaker from the store.  Charges are pending.

State police responded to a e vehicle accident on I-80. The operator of a 2017 Nissan Rogue was utilizing her cell phone and became distracted.  The driver side swiped a 2016 Honda Civic and rear ended a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder which ultimately rear ended a 2007 Kenworth diesel truck.  No injuries were reported.  Charges have been filed.

State police investigated a report of criminal trespass on Laura St. in Chester Hill Borough.  Maria Lopez-Urzua, 44, of Philipsburg arrived that the victim’s residence creating a disturbance.  Charges have been filed.

State police responded to a two vehicle accident on SR 53 in Houtzdale Borough.  The driver of a GMC Sierra failed to stop a red light and was subsequently struck by a Cadillac DTS.  The operator of the Cadillac received minor injuries.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
