DUBOIS – The DuBois Lions Club invites you to support its basket raffle and 50/50 drawing this Sunday, Aug. 2 at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater at the DuBois City Park between the hours of 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.
There will be 73 baskets to be drawn at 5 p.m. This is the club’s largest fundraiser to support its work to provide services for those who are visually impaired, who need diabetes prevention, as well as with youth programs and college scholarships.
For those who purchased tickets to the Lions Club’s “Nite at the Races” event that has been cancelled, you are able to receive a refund this Sunday. Please bring your ticket stub with you.
Raffle tickets will also be sold for a Big prize raffle to be drawn on Sept. 10. Big prize tickets can be purchased on Sunday or from any DuBois Lions Club member.
