BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – A former local man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a teenage girl in 2017-2018.

Michael A. Blasko, 34, of SCI-Camp Hill is charged with eight counts each of felony statutory sexual assault-11 years older and corruption of minors-defendant age 18 or above.

He’s also charged with one felony count of aggravated indecent assault and eight counts of misdemeanor indecent assault-person less than 16 years of age.

The investigation began in January of 2018 following a domestic dispute over text messages between Blasko and the 14-year-old girl, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

On Jan. 11, 2018, the girl was interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center of Clearfield County and reported having sex with Blasko at least eight times over the past year.

She said the incidents happened at different locations, including in Blasko’s Ford Expedition, with the most recent incident being on Jan. 8, 2018 at a remote location in Bradford Township.

That night she said she met Blasko and gave him $50 she’d stolen from a family member. She said they went to a local convenience store where Blasko bought cigarettes.

After, she said they took a back road to a remote location where they had sex.  Trooper Jared Wolff obtained the store receipt, which confirmed the date and time and that Blasko paid with $50 in cash.

He also reviewed surveillance video that showed a white Ford Expedition pull up and Blasko, as he entered the store and completed his purchase.

On Jan. 11, 2018, Wolff located Blasko’s vehicle in the 600 block of Daisy Street, Clearfield, and it was seized for forensic processing by Punxsutawney-based state police.

A laboratory report showed that DNA collected from the Ford Expedition matched that of Blasko and the girl, according to the affidavit.

Also, as part of this investigation, Wolff collected and obtained permission to search a cellular phone and Kindle. Both devices were sent to the PSP Computer Crime Laboratory for analysis.

The Kindle was found to contain numerous text-messages that were sexual in nature and that incriminated Blasko, state police said.
