Sandy Supers Hear About COVID-19’s Budget Impact

DUBOIS – COVID-19’s impact on Sandy Township’s budget was discussed at Monday night’s supervisors’ meeting.

Township Manager Shawn Arbaugh reported that there’s been a combination of decreased revenues and expenses.  For example, he said, sewer revenues are down by approximately $40,000 and expenses by $65,000.

Additionally, Arbaugh said there’s been a decrease in sewer usage, mostly by township businesses, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
