CLEARFIELD – A male was taken into custody Friday afternoon following an alleged assault incident at a Clearfield apartment complex.
Dishawn Liles, 29, (no hometown given) is being charged by Lawrence Township police with strangulation, simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and related offenses.
According to police, officers responded to a reported assault at approximately 1:35 p.m. at the Lawrence Park Village apartment complex.
At the scene, a female told police Liles applied pressure around her neck until she lost consciousness. She also said she was holding her young child at the time.
