CLEARFIELD – Aquacise classes will resume on Monday, June 8, at the Clearfield YMCA.
New public health/safety measures are in place to protect staff and members in the two 12-person classes, according to instructor Pamela Babick.
The first class is from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. and the second is from 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Participants much register in advance at 814-765-5521 due to space limitations and social distancing.
Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and classes will accommodate the usual number of participants.
At the request of YMCA staff, participants should already have their bathing suits on when they enter the building and proceed directly to the pool area.
Afterwards, participants may enter the locker room area but are encouraged to limit their time there. Restrooms will be available, but showers are still closed at this time.
It was noted that the YMCA’s facilities are closed from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. daily for cleaning purposes.
