Clearfield Borough
- Police were dispatched to a residence on East Pine Street for a found dog. Once on scene, the owner was located a short time later and the dog was released.
- Police received a report about a theft of a license plate from a vehicle on Gulich Avenue. The incident is under further investigation.
- Police were dispatched for to the 100 block of South 4th Street for trespassing in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with the suspect who became disorderly and refused to leave the property. The female was taken into custody and transported to CCJ.
- Police were dispatched to a parking lot on Reed Street for a domestic disturbance between a male and female. Upon arrival, it was found that the female was struck by the male in the face and had visible injuries. Clearfield EMS was summoned to the scene and the male was placed under arrest for simple assault and transported to CCJ.
Curwensville Borough
- Police were contacted by a resident concerning drug violations.
- Police responded to a psychological emergency.
- Police responded to a report of a male attempting to gain entry into a motor vehicle. The victim then chose not to pursue charges.
- Police received a call regarding a harassment by communications. It was found to be outside of the departments jurisdiction.
PSP Clearfield
- State police investigated an incident of false reports to law enforcement in Decatur Twp. Police were contact by a male under the false name of Michael Jenkins starting that an assault had taken place in a residence, that he was holding the family hostage and wanted to assault the State police. It was determined to be an incident of Swatting online gaming. The suspect advised that he lived in Alabama which was found to be false.
