Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a call of a suspicious male in the area of Washington Ave. who was to be standing in the middle of the road taking his clothes off. When police made contact with the male he was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was also found to be in possession of alcohol and on probation. He was housed in the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police received a call for a male walking down the middle of Old Erie Pike wearing only his underwear. Upon arrival, the male began to flee running through a field and jumping into the river. Upon exiting the river officers located the male on Carbon Mine Road where the foot pursuit continues. He was eventually apprehended in the woods and was take to the Clearfield County Jail due to his intoxication level. Charges have been filed.
- Police received a report of a theft at the WalMart Supercenter. A local couple removed 12 items from the store without paying. Charges have been filed.
PSP Clearfield
- State police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Jerry Run Rd. in Goshen Tsp. The operated of the vehicle failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway and struct and ditch and overturned. No serious injuries were reported.
Sandy Township
- A 67 year old E. DuBois Ave woman reported someone took a Toro push mower off of her back porch.
- Employees of Falls Creek Sheetz reported a suspicious male dressed in all black, sitting at an outside table with several bags. Officers spoke to the man who reported he was on his way from Lock Haven to Shippenville and had just stopped to rest.
- A vehicle driven by a 27 year old Brockway man was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 45 year old DuBois man that was stopped in traffic. Upon arrival officers performed field sobriety testing on the Brockway man, which let to him being transported to Penn Highlands for blood testing. Charges pending.
- Officers received a report of a Beagle running loose in the area of SR 219/S. Brady Street. Officers were unable to catch the dog and attempted to locate a possible owner to no avail.
- A 43 year old man reported an open fire at a Circle Road residence that he felt was too high and might damage the siding on his residence. Upon arrival officers located the resident hosting the fire who agreed to let it die down.
Curwensville Borough
- Police responded to a Thompson St. address for a report of a domestic in progress. Charges are pending.
- Police assisted Lawrence Twp. police in attempting to locate an individual.
- Police checked on the welfare of an individual on Sunset Lane. Everything was found to be fine.
- Police responded to the Curwensville High School for a reported lost license plate.
- Police responded to a welfare check of a Ridge Ave. resident. The resident was found to be sick but not in need of assistance.
- Police were assisted by Bigler Boyz Towing and Recover with a tractor trailer that was stuck on school property.
- Police received a report of harassment by communications. The individual was advised to have not further contact with the victim.
