The Penn State DuBois men’s basketball team was in a heated battle for the final playoff spot on the PSUAC West division. A must win on Friday night against host school PSU Greater Allegheny would help get them to that point. DuBois would fight hard as they took a 1-point lead going into the locker room, but Greater Allegheny would come back in the 2nd half, and not be denied on their home floor.
DuBois would play their final game of the season as they would eventually lose the game, 71-58.
Russell Gariepy (Albion, PA) would lead the way for DuBois with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Mekhi Willis (Landstuhl, Germany) dropped in 14 points, dished out 5 assists, and added 4 steals. Cole Morris (Rimersburg, PA) would add 12 points, grab 6 boards, distribute 5 assists, and had 3 steals.
