Gordmans to Celebrate Grand Opening on Feb. 18

CLEARFIELD – Gordmans will celebrate the grand opening of its Clearfield store on Tuesday, Feb. 18, beginning at 9 a.m.

The store, located at 1800 Daisy St., Suite 100, in the Clearfield Mall shopping plaza, will hold a ribbon-cutting, which will follow with a $1,000 donation to the Clearfield Area Junior Senior High School.

That day Gordmans will also open stores in 22 other Pennsylvania locations, including Belle Vernon, Bradford, Brodheadsville, Carbondale, Covington, Ellwood City, Erie, Honesdale, Huntington, Kennett Square, Leechburg, Mansfield, Matamoras, Meadville, Mount Pleasant, New Castle, Sayre, Somerset, St. Marys, Towanda, Tunkhannock and Waynesboro.

According to a company press release, off-price retailer Gordmans has brands you expect at prices you don’t. New finds arrive each week, including everyone’s favorite brands priced way lower than department stores.

Merchandise selection includes apparel and footwear for the family, home décor, accent furniture, wall décor, bedding & bath, kitchen gadgets, fashion jewelry, designer fragrances, toys and pet accessories. There’s also the added convenience of an Amazon Counter inside its stores.

Gordmans is part of the Stage community of stores. Through its Community Counts programs, Stage and Gordmans give back by supporting local and national causes.

According to the release, in 2020, Stage (NYSE:SSI) is converting over 500 department stores (BEALLS, GOODY’S, PALAIS ROYAL, PEEBLES and STAGE) to Gordmans.

Once the conversion is complete, Stage will be operating approximately 700 Gordmans store locations, making Gordmans one of the prominent off-price retail chains in the United States.
