Morning House Fire Under Investigation in Graham Township

GRAHAM TOWNSHIP – The investigation is continuing into a house fire that occurred Monday morning in the 6200 block of Deer Creek Road in Graham Township, Clearfield County.

According to Morris Township Fire Company Deputy Chief Chad Baughman, the call was received at approximately 8:15 a.m., and units arrived on-scene to a working fire at the rear of the residence.

He said firefighters found one patient trapped on the porch, they were removed to safety and then transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Baughman said the fire was under control within approximately 45 minutes, and units operated on-scene for a couple of hours. The cause of the fire and a damage estimate is not yet available.

No further information is being released at this time, as the fire remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit and the Morris Township Fire Company.

The fire company was assisted on-scene by the Winburne, Grassflat, Karthaus, Goshen, Wallaceton, Osceola Mills, Philipsburg and Houtzdale fire companies and Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services.
