Another PSUAC victory last night for the Penn State DuBois women’s basketball team is their first of what are hopefully many for the 2020 year. Improving their record to 5-2 in conference play, and 10-3 overall, DuBois is looking to continue their winning ways in this second half of the season.
Last night DuBois faced PSU New Kensington. DuBois took the early lead, and held all control for the entire game. Malliah Schreck (Emlenton, PA) came out big scoring 17, and pulling down 9 boards. Leah Lindemuth (Brockway, PA) scored 19, and Lexey Schick (Rimersburg, PA) had herself a night as she dropped in 13 points, had 8 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists.
DuBois tied their season high team assist mark with 19, and also shot over 50% from the field.
DuBois has 2 home games this weekend as they host PSU Mont Alto on Friday night, and PSU York on Saturday afternoon.
