CLEARFIELD – Students in the Welding and Metal Fabrication program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) recently created a Christmas tree that is on display in the CCCTC lobby.

Students used the CNC plasma to cut parts, then welded the tree using the gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process. Metal Engineering Technology students also used their skills to create ornaments for the tree.
