Grampian Lions Club to Host Children’s Christmas Festival

GRAMPIAN – The Grampian Lions Club will host its annual Children’s Christmas Festival, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Dec. 7 at the Cen-Clear Center, located at the former Penn-Grampian Elementary School.

All local children are invited to attend this free event, and to enjoy a day of holiday fun with their families. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a special visit from the North Pole to hand out treats.

Frosty the Snowman will also make an appearance, and there will be holiday crafts, reindeer games, a free toy raffle, a trip to “Whoville for Grinch pills and a stop to make some reindeer food.

Each child will receive a free book courtesy of the Grampian Lions Club, and children will also have a chance to pick a “beanie pet” from the Ty Beanie Pet Shop.

At the reading center, local book lovers will be on-hand to read various Christmas stories, and The Elf Land Café will be open serving holiday punch, homemade cookies and snacks provided by local churches.
