CLEARFIELD – Members of the Joint Operating Committee of the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) are pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Cover as CCCTC principal.

Fred Redden, executive director of the CCCTC, said, “Tiffany has a lot to offer the CCCTC staff as the integration of ELA into all technical areas is a primary focus.

“She also brings a strong background in instructional technology, which will be a great resource as the career center continues to move in a modern direction.

“Technology is a part of every career, and it is our job to ensure that we create the best opportunities for our students to hit the ground running upon entering the workforce or an institution of higher learning.

“Mrs. Cover is the latest and greatest piece of the puzzle as the CCCTC works diligently to help close the trade gap.”

Cover comes to the CCCTC from Moshannon Valley Junior-Senior High School, where she taught AP English language and composition, honors English 12 and introduction to mythology and folklore elective since 2004.

A 2003 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in secondary education, certified in English/communications and a minor psychology, she later returned to PSU for her Master of Education degree and Principal Certificate, graduating in 2009. She has been married since 2006 with two daughters.

Cover is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the CCCTC students and staff, saying, “The CCCTC is vital to the development of this community, and I am honored to have been offered the opportunity to participate in that.

“I look forward to bringing my academic background to the CCCTC while supporting the students and staff in their ongoing growth.”
