State police at Clearfield
- State police responded to a motor vehicle crash Sunday on state Route 53/Morrisdale Allport Highway in Morris Township. According to the report, a driver was negotiating a slight, right-hand curve when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to strike a fire hydrant and make rut marks in a yard. The driver was wearing his seatbelt and not injured. He was cited for roadways laned for traffic and issued a warning for bald tires.
- State police received a report about a scrap metal theft that occurred Oct. 17 in the area of Company Row and Blue Ball roads in Boggs Township. During a break-in, 55-year-old Robert Lefort of Osceola Mills allegedly stole scrap metal from the victim’s vacant property. Afterwards, state police say he sold it to a scrap metal yard. Charges were filed against Lefort through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Saturday on Crossroads Boulevard in Beccaria Township. During the incident, someone allegedly broke three stick reflectors at the location. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in two drug arrests Saturday in the area of the Woodland Bigler Highway and Rock Lane in Bradford Township. According to the report, a 46-year-old Curwensville woman was stopped for an equipment violation. Troopers allegedly found she was driving under the influence and that she and a 45-year-old Curwensville woman were in possession of various drugs. Charges were filed through the district court, and both women were housed in county jail on parole violations.
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Thursday or Friday on Reservoir Road in Cooper Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forced entry into a vacant residence and removed tools and construction equipment. The investigation is continuing at this time.
- Police responded to a crash Monday on the Curwensville Grampian Highway in Pike Township. According to the report, it occurred when a bulldozer fell from a trailer while the commercial vehicle that was hauling it was going around a right-hand curve. A Ford truck driven by a 67-year-old Grampian man was traveling east at the same time, and crashed with the bulldozer. State police say his truck suffered disabling damage, and the man was transported for treatment of suspected serious injuries.
- State police reported that a 1998 Honda Fourtrax was found Monday near Hale Road in Woodward Township. The owner is unknown, and anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Saturday on Cardinal Drive in Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly punctured two tires on a Rockton woman’s blue Ford F-150. The investigation is continuing at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Saturday at Holiday Hair in Clearfield. According to police, a 40-year-old Woodland man left the business with his juvenile son. In the parking lot, a 43-year-old Frenchville woman allegedly blocked the man from entry into his vehicle, then confronted him over medical bills from a previous incident. He asked the woman to move and to leave them alone; however, he said she persisted until she left the scene. Police say previous incidents have occurred between the woman and the man’s son; she was cited for harassment through the district court.
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred between Friday and Monday at Elliott’s Park along River Road in Clearfield. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a wooden carved pumpkin from the park. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police.
