CLEARFIELD – Holly Raab, 45, of Philipsburg is wanted for missing her court date in October of last year, announced Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. on Monday.
On May 25, 2018, Alex Burkett, formerly an officer of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, charged Raab with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and related offenses.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on May 9, 2018, Burkett made contact with the operator of a vehicle, identified as Raab, due to a traffic code violation.
When contact was made with Raab and the front-seat passenger, it was discovered that Raab didn’t have a valid license. It was also discovered that Raab had an active warrant for her arrest.
Once Raab was removed from the vehicle, officers detected signs of drug-related impairment. When officers returned to the vehicle, they observed a baggie of suspected methamphetamine.
At that time, police seized the baggie and Raab was subsequently transported to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital for a legal blood draw.
On July 18, 2018, a preliminary hearing was held and all charges were sent to county court. On Oct. 25, 2018, Raab failed to appear for Criminal Call, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Raab is described as being a Caucasian female who stands approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall. She also has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with knowledge of Raab’s location is asked to call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at 800-376-4700. All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
