GETTYSBURG – Clearfield Boy Scouts from Troop 9 recently visited Gettysburg and completed their Historic Trails Program.
Their visit covered the Billy Yank 10.5-mile trail; Gettysburg Museum and National Cemetery; downtown’s 5.3-mile historic trial; the Eisenhower farm; and the 4-mile Johnny Reb trail.
During the trip, scouts learned about what the Union and Confederate armies endured during the Battle of Gettysburg. They also hiked 28 miles to complete the Historic Trail program.
