CLEARFIELD – Get ready for some fall fun.

Hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC), the ninth annual fall festival will fill the streets of downtown Clearfield on Oct. 12.

The festival will be held in conjunction with the Clearfield Pumpkin Run/Walk 5K and the Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show.

This fall day will begin with a 5K race through the streets of Clearfield. Participants must register by Sept. 28 to be guaranteed a race T-shirt.

Day-of registration will take place, from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m., at the Clearfield Riverwalk Amphitheater; the race will start at 8:30 a.m. near Clearfield Agway.

Interested participants should visit www.discoverclearfield.com for more information.

After the race, the fall festival will fill Market, Locust and Third streets, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This is an admission-free, family-friendly event with something for everyone to enjoy.

Festival-goers can partake in their fall favorites while mingling with over 100 talented artisans with works ranging from ceramics, fiber, wood, leather and metalwork to jewelry, glass, photography and mixed-media art.

The festival will feature live entertainment at the Courthouse Plaza, kids will be able to “chalk up” Clearfield and merchants will offer special fall sales.

There will also be games, face painting and a lot more for kids throughout the day.

In conjunction with the festival, the sixth annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will fill downtown around the Third Street parking lot.

Day-of registration will take place from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.; the fee to enter is $10. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Certificate and cash awards will be given for first, second and third places depending upon the number of participants in each class.
