Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a reported traffic hazard in the area of East Ninth Street and Woodland Road. A caller said a limb was tangled in low-hanging wires. The Clearfield Public Works crew was able to remove the limb.
- Police responded to a noise complaint along East Walnut Street. However, police were unable to locate any excessive noise.
- Police were contacted regarding a possible missing female. Upon taking the report, the caller advised that the female had been located and police assistance wasn’t any longer necessary.
- Police received a report about a dog that was found on East Sixth Street. Police were able to use its tags to identify the owner.
- Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle became disabled along South Second Street.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a resident along South Fifth Street. Police learned that the female had been recently incarcerated on a probation violation.
- Police were dispatched to Dorey Street, where a wild animal was reportedly acting strange. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the animal.
- Police responded to a residence along Daisy Street, where a female was yelling for help. Upon arrival on-scene, officers were unable to get a response. Entry was made and police reportedly found that an altercation had occurred between a male and female. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about suspicious persons on South Third Street. Police searched the area and were unable to locate them.
- Police received a report about a disturbance on Cemetery Road. According to police, a male and female were involved in the incident, and she’d left after making comments about self-harm.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a suspicious male Thursday at Sheetz, located on the Clearfield-Shawville Highway, in Lawrence Township. According to police, a 27-year-old Woodland male was found carrying a baseball bat near the dumpsters. However, when he was approached by store staff, he dropped the bat and left the area. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
