CLEARFIELD – Beautification Day was May 18 in downtown Clearfield, hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.

Volunteer groups included Clearfield’s varsity basketball players, local girl scouts and CNB Bank employees

These groups helped cleanup downtown and its nearby parks. Some also assisted with the cleanup of the river bank.

“The CRC is proud to work with Clearfield students, local girl scouts and CNB employees to empower them to benefit their community,” says Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner.

“We want kids to be a part of community development and to take pride in our town. It’s important for kids to be invested in our community, and this is a great project for them.”

The CRC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that implements the Main Street Program in downtown Clearfield.

The CRC organizes many events, such as Cruise the Past on June 7 and the Bloom and Berry Bash on June 22.
