GLEN RICHEY – A summer blast-off celebration will kick off summertime June 1 in Glen Richey.
Festivities will get under way at 11 a.m., and the event is being hosted by the Glen Richey Fireman’s Recreational Park Board.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- 11 a.m. – Vendor/Craft Show and Junk in Trunk; Concessions Open
- 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Kid’s Donkey Cart Rides
- 11:30 a. m. – ABC Martial Arts, Korean Tang Soo Do Demonstration
- 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. – The Moore Brothers
- 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Charlie the Jester
- 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Joe Quick
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Country Crew Line Dancers
- 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Twin Reverb
- Dusk – Fireworks
In addition to foods, crafts and live entertainment, there will be bingo and games. The evening will end with a “blast-off” into summer with a fireworks display.
The summer blast-off celebration is free, and everyone is welcome.
