GRAMPIAN – The Grampian Lions Club’s annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast will be held at the Grampian Fire Hall on Saturday, April 13.
The meal will be served from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. The menu consists of buttermilk pancakes, buckwheat cakes, sausage, liverwurst, coffee and orange juice.
The cost of the meal is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to support the GLC youth activities, such as the Easter egg hunt, Halloween parade and trunk or treat at the park, children’s Christmas festival, Grampian Lions Club Hot Shots and fishing derbies.
Other projects, supported by Grampian Lions Club, include: eyeglasses, hearing aids, families with medical expenses, fire victims, GLC Hots Shots, United Way, Caring and Sharing for Kids, Curwensville Senior Scholarship, Boy Scouts of America, Relay for Life, Leader Dog, Camp Orenda (Handicapped) and Beacon Lodge (Blind), Laurel Hill Trout Farm youth fishing, Curwensville Little League and Curwensville Parent Teacher Commission’s Funfest.
The GLC has also begun a quilt raffle fundraiser for the purchase of a storage shed to house the many items used for its community projects and activities.
It’s a queen size quilt that was pieced and hand-crafted by The Bells Landing Crafting Belles. Tickets are $2 each and will be available for purchase at the breakfast.
Also, tip jars will be placed on the tables if anyone would like to contribute to the GLC Storage Shed Project
All proceeds raised by the Grampian Lions are reinvested in the community, in addition to club members’ contributions.
