Grampian Lions Club Discusses Upcoming Projects, Activities

GRAMPIAN – Upcoming projects and activities were recently discussed at a meeting of the Grampian Lions Club.

Members voted to approve a storage shed project, as one has become necessary to house the club’s property used for its various activities.

The shed, which will be owned by the club, will be located in the Grampian area.

Members will raise funds for its storage shed, beginning with a quilt raffle. The quilt will be pieced and quilted by the Bells Landing Quilters.

The drawing will be held June 15. Raffle tickets are now available at Dimmick’s Auto & Repair, Bells Landing, or through club members.

In other business, members announced its annual Pancake & Sausage Breakfast will be held April 13, from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

Quilt tickets will be available at the breakfast. Tip cups will be placed on the tables for interested persons to donate toward the shed project.

Members also announced that its Children’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m. April 20 at the former Grampian Elementary School.
