CURWENSVILLE – On Feb. 27, students at the Curwensville Area High School heard from two representatives from Continental Carbonic Products Inc.

Ryan P. Sayers, coordinator for the Greater Clearfield Chamber of Commerce Exploring Program, introduced Brent Hand, plant manager, and Markie McMonigle, lead operator.

Both speakers described the work that takes place within the plant and the importance of staying drug free.

The students also learned about the competitive wages offered within the company and the jobs available to those with a high school diploma and or a college degree.
