Pennsylvanians Weighing In on Recreational Marijuana; Listening Tour coming to Clearfield Co.

HARRISBURG – When Gov. Tom Wolf announced that Lt. Gov. John Fetterman would be embarking on a statewide recreational marijuana listening tour, he told reporters, “We both want to make sure the voices of all Pennsylvanians are heard.”

It’s clear that Pennsylvanians on all sides have a lot to say on this topic.

The first listening tour session, held amid winter weather Monday night in Dauphin County, drew more than 250; the second session was held Wednesday night in Cumberland County with a standing-room only crowd.

On Monday an online feedback form was posted on governor.pa.gov and the lieutenant governor’s Facebook page. As of 10 a.m. Thursday, there were more than 12,000 form submissions.

The lieutenant governor has committed to visiting all 67 counties on listening tours. View his planned stops here, which include Clearfield County.

The tour will visit Penn State DuBois’ auditorium, from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21, at 1 College Pl., DuBois.
